Aléa is an experimental design and material research studio dedicated to develop regenerative processes by harnessing the potential of mycelium, the filamentous structure of fungi.

We seek to redefine temporalities, aesthetics, and narratives to transform how materials are used, understood and valued.

Our mission is to establish a deeper relationship between the natural and built environment by designing autonomous place-based systems for a post-fossil fuel future.
