Nothing Really Matters; 2023
Domaine de Boisbuchet, Lessac, France

The workshop led by Aléa, with Miriam Josi and Stella Lee Prowse, explored the use of mycelium as a living material embracing impermanence and decay. Through the process of harvesting, growing, and nurturing this organism, participants worked together to showcase the transformative applications of the material. As a result, they collaborated on cultivating a mycelium material library in the form of a garden, tracing the origins of each substrate to various locations across the domaine.
